Took a trip to the vet yesterday, as cooper's feet were a mess!! A huge mess. Red, sore. cracked, he started limping & was in pain. Usually if they get a little red, we can manage them somewhat, however they went downhill fast! Once again a ton of yeast, a ton of bacteria, & they were so sore underneath no wonder he was in pain. The Dr. looked back on his records & since 2006 every august he has the same problems. I looked up the pollen counts & sure enough Ragweed & a few others are very high this time of year. He is indeed allergic to 2 types of weeds& i believe ragweed is one of them. He's been itchy lately as well, mainly on his face. So he got a cortisone shot at the office & i left with a bag full of medicine ( I swear i left with half their stock) Cephalexin, different milligrams for the bacteria , Another pill for the yeast, medrol for his itchies, which i hate because he drinks & pee's constantly, but it does work well for him. and medicated shampoo for his feet's. His poor little pads are so yucky, the skin is just sloughing off. Already with 2 days of medicines in him i see a huge improvement, So since he feels better he decided to tear apart his new toy, this is after he tossed it down the steps & it broke into 3 pieces.

It is a beautiful fall like day today, Temp in the 70's a cool breeze the cloudy fall looking sky, YES!!!!! Good riddance summer, Bring on fall!!
The low tonight in the 40's!!!!!! Fan in the window, lots of covers on the bed, great sleeping weather.
