Rafe and I were out walking this morning and I had to stop and re-tie my shoelace. Right near us was a man in a mobile platform (have no idea what you call them over there) and it was moving and making some noise and Rafe was on alert and watching. I was telling him that a man was in the machine and making the noise because if there is a person involved he is okay with it. The man got out of the machine and Rafe saw him and then the man started walking towards us so we walked towards him. The man said "He's a beauty - I have two brindle boxers at home." So Rafe and the guy were great mates after that. They had a scratch and a cuddle and we had a bit of a chat about boxers and then we continued on our walk.

Funny how Rafe collects people (almost makes the exercise bearable - ALMOST)

I wish I could tell you, all that god has planned,
If I were to tell you, you would not understand.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is O'er,
I'm closer to you now, than i ever was before.

There are rocky roads ahead of you, and many hills to climb,
But together we can do it, by taking one day at a time.

And now I am contented, that my life was worthwhile,
Knowing as I passed along, I made somebody smile.

So when you're walking down the street, with me on your mind,
I'm walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go, from that body to be free,
Remember your not going, your coming here to me.

Hi ! New to site and my 1st post ! I am the mommy to 2 boxers ! My Coal is 11 months and Mason s our newest at 12 weeks. He has a huge conehead.. didnt have it a week ago. The vet isnt concerned ...thinks he must have bumped it playing with his big brother and soft tissue formed a protective shield...she said e'll outgrow it..., but I'm nervous! Anyone familiar ? My Coal had a little one (which he outgrew) but nothing like this!

Naja is a wierdo. She has decided that ice cubes are the best treat in the world. She will ignore her other favorite treats and come sit in front of the fridge, looking at the freezer. If it were just because it was hot, I could understand, but this happens even when she's been inside where it's cool all day. What a wierdo.
